This was a commission for a lady who had walked up the steep ascent to the right of The Long Man one windy Spring day. On discovering a fox skull near the summit, which she read as a good omen, the magic was completed by a Red Kite rising up on the breeze next to her.
Woodblock (plywood); each one hand printed on Conqueror laid vellum block printing paper with black linseed oil based relief printing ink, then hand tinted with watercolour.
